Description:

This attractive Clone Machine holds up to 8 clones. Dimensions are: 8" high x 10" wide. American Agritech has designed the Daisy Cloner to be low budget and practical. Each Daisy Cloner contains a true aeroponic mist application to ensure the best rooting and aeration to achieve optimum results. Simply dip the cutting in your choice of cloning hormone, place cutting in the neoprene collar and place in the 2" pot. American Agritech also suggests using a cloning solution and fungicide in the Daisy Cloner reservoir. Operate the machine for 24 hour periods until roots appear (3 to 10 days). Transplant into any desired grow substrate. Daisy Cloners work best with 16-18 hours of fluorescent lighting at 4"-8" for cuttings. Misting leaves once or twice daily is also helpful.

1home and garden cloningFeb 08, 2011
By no more ebay amazon yeah
i bought 2 of these trusting they were well made cloners ,these leak at the hole for the power cord and all around the rim save your money unless you have a place you want soaked by this cloner .if they took the time to make leak proof top and cord opening this would be a great cloner but as it is now its just a ruiner of any furniture you set it on and water can go down cord to plugin and short out your house do not buy this till they make it safe and dry Daisy Clone 8 from Botanicare

3Does what it should but could be betterApr 14, 2011

This is a decent cloner for cheap. It does work but it has some issues. First, the bucket was a little bit out of round (probably from the packaging) and the lid doesn't want to stay tight since it just sets on and doesn't seal like a bucket lid. You might want to tape the lid secure once you have it set up. Secondly the power cord for the pump isn't very flexible and was very annoying. It constantly would push up on a net pot the whole time.

Make sure your PH is good! Otherwise you won't root anything. Make sure you have gone a week without nutrients before taking your clones. They will root faster.

2Skip it and build one of your ownOct 27, 2011

This cloning unit was a real disappointment. The small "sprinkler head" that the water should spray out of got stuck in the very first use. I swapped it out for the extra that came with the set and it also got stuck within a day. I was running very clean and clear water through the unit and I followed the instructions to the letter. It's just a poor design with poor quality components. I would NOT recommend buying this unit based on my experience. Go with a homemade unit or try visiting a local retailer to see what they recommend.

3Moderate Success using it - Others work betterJun 04, 2011

I bought this while I was manufacturing a home made bucket cloner. My friends have several different brands. I get one out of eight clones to root with this. My friends pointed out it has to do with the heads, all of theirs use multiple heads that are misters while this is a single tiny little lawn- sprinkler with sprays around in a circle. So I put a mister in my bucket and it has better yeilds as well. I'm going to put a mister head in this one and see if that improves this. The heads are easily replaceable.
I also agree with the other reviewers that the cord is hard to place. If you work it you can get it good. I have seen no warpage or leakage in using mine.
If the mister head improves the yeild to match the others then this is a cheaper alternative to other commercial clowners, You can still build yourself for cheaper if you're inclined to invest the time.

4it does what its supposed to but...Dec 23, 2011

Like everyone else says the hole cut in the top of the reservoir for the pump power cord leaks and either you have to come up with a way to make it stop leaking or put something under it to catch the water that will steadily drip out. You also need to eventually replenish water. Other than that, THIS PRODUCT DOES WHAT ITS SUPPOSED TO. If you have all the proper tools you could defiantly build a better one for cheaper but for someone who doesn't have the mechanical skills, or tools this isn't a bad route just remember to keep something under it to catch the water, replenish water, and if you have it up on a table make sure the dripping water won't roll down the cord and reach you outlet!
